Overflowing with quiet opulence, this tough, ungainly beauty always stops me in my tracks. Spirals of tightly packed blue grey leaves spread in patches along dark spindly branches, winding towards the sky and trailing downwards. Soft white velvet fur on each new leaf contrasts with a smooth sharpness as they age. Enormous flowers (the shear size of them astounding!) are followed by beautiful dark ringed seed pods with just a hint of green. An absolutely joyous display.
