Cymbopogon refractus – Barbed Wire Grass

One of my favourite native grasses from eastern Australia.  Although it looks a bit fierce (hence its common name) it’s really a bit of a softie. I love the red and green colours of the long stems, and the delicate yellow and mauves in the flowers.
