Notes from a sketchbook

My sketchbooks are filled with all manner of interesting bits and pieces, from found objects to landscape scenes, or ideas for new works. This drawing combines some of my many sketches of native fig fruits with a dried banksia branch, layering pencil, ink, gouache and collage together to create a quiet, contemplative still life.
